Usage & Credits

The Usage and activity page is your accounting view. It shows everything you have run and every credit you have spent, so you can always see where your credits went.

Where to find it​

Open Usage and activity from the account area of the dApp.

  1. Switch between Activity, Charges, Liquidity, Traces, Notifications and Watches using the tabs to see each kind of usage.
  2. Select Sign in to sync every check, trace and charge you have run across Cognivo Chat and the dApp into one place.
  3. Select Go to billing to see your credit balance and top up when you need more.

What each part means​

  • Tabs filter the view. Activity shows everything, Charges shows paid actions only, and Liquidity, Traces, Notifications and Watches narrow to one kind.
  • Each row shows the tool name, the network, whether it was free or paid, and the exact credits consumed.
  • Totals at the summary level add up your spend for the period you are viewing.
  • Sign in brings your chat and dApp usage into one place. Go to billing opens your balance and top-up packs.

How charging works​

Cognivo never charges you by surprise:

  • Free actions cost 0 credits and are labelled free.
  • Paid actions show their price before they run, and you confirm first. Only confirmed actions are charged.
  • Free daily credits are used before any paid credits, and paid credits never expire.

Current tool costs (verified): Quick Chain Status 1 credit, Full Contract Analysis 7 credits, Deep Trace 25 credits, a liquidity check 2 credits. One credit is worth 0.01 US dollars. See the full list in Cognivo Tools and Credit Costs.

Investigating an unfamiliar entry​

If you see a charge you do not recognise:

  1. Switch to the Charges tab to isolate paid actions.
  2. Match the row to the tool name, network and time.
  3. Open the row to reopen the underlying result and see what was run.

Because every paid action is confirmed first, each charge maps to something you approved.

Limitations​

  • Your usage fills in after you sign in.
  • Networks covered are Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain. Solana is coming soon.
