Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Cognivo.

General

What is Cognivo?

Cognivo is a blockchain analysis platform with two core products: Cognivo Chat for AI-assisted research and Wallet Tracer for interactive fund flow analysis.

Is Cognivo free to use?

Free accounts receive 10 credits per day, which renew automatically at midnight UTC. Credits are used when running $COGNI Gateway tools and Wallet Tracer analyses. Additional credits can be purchased from the billing page.

What blockchain does Cognivo support?

Wallet Tracer currently focuses on Ethereum. Cognivo Chat also supports chain-aware wallet and token lookups across supported networks.

Account & Login

Can I log in with my crypto wallet?

Yes. Cognivo supports Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE), letting you log in by signing a message to prove wallet ownership. See Sign In with Wallet.

Do I need a crypto wallet to use Cognivo?

No. You can create an account with email and password. A wallet is only needed for SIWE login.

What languages is Cognivo available in?

Cognivo Chat supports 37 languages. These documentation pages are currently available in 10 languages. See Supported Languages.

Wallet Tracer

What is a Bubble Map?

A Bubble Map is an interactive graph showing how cryptocurrency moved between wallet addresses. Each circle represents an address, arrows show transactions, and colors indicate address types. See Understanding the Graph.

How do I trace a wallet?

You can trace a wallet two ways:

  1. Ask the AI in Cognivo Chat to trace an address
  2. Go to Wallet Tracer, enter an Ethereum address, choose a direction, and click Start Trace

See Starting a Trace.

What does "terminal" mean in a trace?

A terminal is an address where the trace stopped. This happens when the address is a known exchange, mixer, bridge, or when the trace depth limit is reached. See Terminal Reasons Explained.

What are the trace limits?

Free accounts include 10 credits per day. Wallet Tracer starts with a 5-hop default when launched from the home page. See Credits & Billing for current usage details.

Cognivo Chat

What can I do with $COGNI Gateway?

$COGNI Gateway tools let you analyze transactions, wallets, smart contracts, and more by asking in natural language. See What is $COGNI Gateway?.

What are Memories?

Memories are persistent information the AI saves and uses across your conversations. See What are Memories?.

Understanding Answers

What is Cognivo Grounded On-Chain Evidence?

It is information verified directly from on-chain data. It is the authoritative basis for any on-chain fact in a Cognivo answer. See Grounded vs Augmented Evidence.

What is Augmented Intelligence?

Cognivo Augmented Intelligence is added context that is clearly labeled as augmented. It supports interpretation but never overrides grounded evidence.

Is burned LP the same as a timed lock?

No. Burned LP means LP tokens were sent to a burn address and cannot be moved; it has no unlock schedule. A timed lock is a separate mechanism that restricts withdrawals for a period. See Burned-LP Custody.

What does "not verified" mean?

It means Cognivo could not confirm the signal. It indicates the absence of confirmation — not that the opposite is true.

What does "not assessed" mean?

It means Cognivo did not evaluate that signal in the current view. It is not the same as zero and is not a safety claim.

What does Registry Attribution mean?

Registry rows identify known infrastructure only. They are not proof of an active lock state. See Registry Attribution.

Do summary replies use credits?

A no-credit summary recap uses no credits, and Cognivo tells you with "No credits were used." See Summary Replies & Follow-ups.

Does Cognivo give financial advice?

No. Cognivo provides analytical signals, not financial advice. Always verify independently before acting.
