What Alerts is
Alerts is where Cognivo watches things for you and tells you when they happen. You pick a wallet or a liquidity unlock, you say what you want to hear about, and Cognivo sends you a message when it fires. Everything Cognivo has ever sent you is kept in one place here.
- This panel lists every wallet and liquidity unlock you are tracking, plus every alert Cognivo has sent you.
- Select Continue from chat to sign in and set up or review your alerts. Setting alert rules is free.
When to use it
Use Alerts when the question is "tell me when this changes" rather than "what is this right now". Common examples: you want to know when a wallet you follow sells, when a liquidity lock is about to expire, or you want to look back at what fired while you were away.
Where to find it
Open the dApp and select Alerts at the bottom of the Intelligence group in the left sidebar. The page opens on the Overview tab.
- Use the row of tabs to move between Overview, Alerts feed, Tracking, Watch Profiles, Inbox, Activity and Delivery.
- Read the Coverage chips to see what Cognivo watches for you today, how many system events it sends, and how many alert types are still coming.
- Select Manage alerts to add, pause or edit the things you are watching.
- Select Delivery to choose where your alerts arrive.
The Coverage card is worth a look on your first visit. It tells you how many things Cognivo is monitoring for you, how many alert types are live today, and how many are still being built.
The Alerts feed
The Alerts feed tab is the full history of everything Cognivo has sent you, newest first. Each card names what happened, the wallet or token involved, how important Cognivo rated it, and when it fired. You can filter by wallet address, by network and by event type, and open View details on any card to see the full record.
Tracking wallets and unlocks
The Tracking tab lists what Cognivo is watching right now. Liquidity unlock alerts sit at the top with their unlock date and how far in advance you want to be reminded. Tracked wallets sit below, with Track new wallet to add another and a search box if your list is long.
Each tracked wallet has its own card. The chips tell you whether it is live or Paused and when it was last checked, and the settings line shows the preset, the minimum value and how alerts are delivered.
- Read the chips beside each wallet to see where it is watched and whether it is Paused or live, with the time of the last check.
- Choose Edit preferences to change which events you are alerted on, the minimum value and how alerts reach you.
- Choose View details to open the full history for that wallet, including how many alerts have fired and what kind.
- Choose Wallet DNA to run the deeper behaviour read on that wallet, which costs 6 credits and is quoted before anything is charged.
A card can also carry honest warnings. High alert volume with Review thresholds means the wallet is firing more than is useful, so raising the minimum value is likely to help. Where you see Unclassified wallet, Insufficient evidence for persona or Coverage Failure, Cognivo is telling you it does not have enough of this wallet's history to describe its behaviour. That is a gap in evidence, not a verdict about the wallet.
Inside a tracked wallet
View details opens one wallet on its own. The Alert activity card counts how many alerts have fired all time and in the last 30 days, and when the last one arrived. Below that, one chart breaks the alerts down by event type and another shows them over time.
Read these charts as a record of alerts, not as the wallet's whole trading history. Days with no alerts are left out rather than drawn as zero, so a short chart means a quiet period.
Further down are buys against sells over time, position reductions and exits, and the tokens that appeared in recent alerts. The Deeper flow analysis cards for transfers, exchange deposits, bridge movements and liquidity changes say plainly that those numbers are not tracked in alert activity, and offer to run a fuller history instead. That is a separate paid tool, and the cost is shown on the button before you start.
At the bottom, Latest alerts lists the most recent firings for that wallet, each with a link to the details and to a block explorer so you can check the transaction yourself.
Where alerts arrive
The Delivery tab controls how alerts reach you. If you have connected Telegram, it shows as Connected here. The timezone setting decides which clock every alert time is shown in, so set it to your own before you rely on the timestamps.
Below that, Cognivo lists its channels and its full alert catalogue, and it is honest about what is not ready yet.
- Check the label beside each channel to see where alerts can reach you today: Bell, Inbox and Telegram show Live, while Email and Webhook show Not yet.
- Look at the Live now group for the alert types you can receive right now.
- Look at the In development group to see which alert types are still being built, so you know what to expect later.
To get alerts in Telegram you first need to link your account from Link Telegram in the Account group of the sidebar.
Alert defaults in Settings
Settings has an Alerts panel called Alert defaults, with a starting preset, chain, value threshold and direction, minimum severity and confidence, and four toggles.
One honest note: these values are saved, but a new wallet alert or watch profile does not start from them yet. Set the options on each alert itself, using Edit preferences on its card.
Managing alerts from Chat
You can do most of this in Cognivo Chat without opening the dApp. Ask to see your alerts, ask which one fires next, ask what fired recently, or ask for the history of one alert. You can pause an alert, resume it, change how far in advance a liquidity unlock warns you, or stop it entirely.
Two things to know. Cognivo works from the exact alert in your list rather than from a description, so if your request is ambiguous it asks which one you mean instead of guessing. And stopping an alert for good is a two step action: Cognivo first shows you exactly which alert would be removed and only removes it after you confirm. That confirmation protects your data, not your credits.
Cost
Setting up alerts, receiving them and asking about them in chat are all free, on every channel. Nothing on this page charges credits.
The exception is a deeper tool you choose to run from an alert. Wallet DNA itself is free today; the wallet read that does carry a cost is Wallet Intelligence, at 6 credits. Cognivo quotes the price first and only charges when you agree and a real result comes back. Declining or cancelling never charges. See Billing and credits for how your 5 free daily credits work.
Limitations
- Alerts cover Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain.
- Bell, Inbox and Telegram deliver alerts today. Email and Webhook are marked Not yet.
- Most alert types in the catalogue are still In development. Only the types in the green Live now group can fire right now.
- An empty feed means nothing matched your rules, not that nothing happened on chain.
