Account & Settings

Settings is where you control how Cognivo looks and behaves, and where you manage the data stored on your device. You reach the account menu and Settings from the dApp.


Where to find it

Open Settings from the account area of the dApp. The page is titled Settings.

  1. Appearance controls how Cognivo looks. Dark mode is the default today, with more themes coming soon.
  2. Default Direction sets which way new traces run by default. This preference is coming soon.
  3. Default Hop Limit sets how many hops new traces follow by default. This preference is coming soon.
  4. Under Data and Storage, select Clear to remove the trace history saved on this device.

What each part means

  • Appearance controls how Cognivo looks. Dark mode is the default today, and more themes are coming soon.
  • Default Direction sets which way new traces run by default. This preference is coming soon.
  • Default Hop Limit sets how many hops new traces follow by default. This preference is coming soon.
  • Data & Storage manages the data kept on this device. Select Clear to remove the trace history saved locally.

Language and appearance

  • Change the interface language using the language selector in the top bar. Cognivo is available in twelve languages. See Supported Languages.
  • Appearance currently uses dark mode. New themes will appear under Appearance when they are ready. Items marked Coming Soon are not active yet.

Account dropdown and privacy

  • The account menu (top bar, once signed in) is where you reach billing, usage, settings and sign-out.
  • Trace history in Data & Storage is stored in your browser on this device. Clearing your browser storage, or selecting Clear, removes it.
  • Cognivo reads public on-chain data to answer your questions and does not ask you to connect a wallet or sign anything to run a check.

Free or paid

Settings, language and privacy controls are free. Nothing on this page spends credits.

  • Some preferences are marked Coming Soon and are not active yet.
  • Local data controls apply to this device and browser only.
