Choosing an AI Model
Cognivo Chat supports multiple AI models. You can switch between them at any time, including mid-conversation.
The Default Mode
When you sign in, Cognivo Chat starts in On-Chain Analyst mode — a configuration optimized for blockchain research, smart contract analysis, and working with $COGNI Gateway tools. This is the recommended mode for most Cognivo use cases.
Switching Models
The model selector is located at the bottom of the chat input area, next to the message field. Click it to open a list of available models, then select the one you want.
The model you choose applies to all subsequent messages in that conversation. You can switch again at any point.
Which Model Should I Use?
On-Chain Analyst is the right choice for most Cognivo work:
- Analyzing wallets, transactions, and contracts
- Using $COGNI Gateway tools
- Tracing fund flows and interpreting results
- Research questions about blockchain activity
Other available models may be better suited for general writing, summarization, or tasks that do not involve on-chain analysis. Use the model selector to explore what is available in your account.
Model Availability
The models available to you depend on your account configuration. If you do not see a model you expected, it may not be enabled for your account. Contact support if you have questions about model access.
