Using Presets

A preset is a saved configuration for a conversation. It bundles the model you picked together with its settings so you can reuse the same setup without configuring it each time. Presets are handy when you often start conversations the same way - for example, a preset tuned for on-chain analysis and another for general writing.

What a Preset Can Include​

A preset can capture the choices you make when setting up a conversation, such as:

  • The selected model
  • A saved instruction that guides how the AI responds
  • Response settings, such as how focused or varied the answers should be
  • Other options exposed for the chosen model

Creating a Preset​

  1. Set up a conversation the way you want it - choose the model and adjust its settings.
  2. Open the presets option from the conversation settings.
  3. Select Save as Preset.
  4. Give the preset a clear name so it is easy to recognize later.
  5. Save. The preset is stored in your account and available from the presets list.

Applying a Preset to a New Chat​

  1. Start a new conversation, or open the presets list.
  2. Select the preset you want.
  3. The conversation adopts that preset's model and settings right away.

You can start typing straight away. To change the setup for that conversation, adjust the settings or apply a different preset.

Managing Presets​

  • Update a preset by saving your current setup over it.
  • Rename a preset to keep your list clear.
  • Delete presets you no longer use.

Notes​

  • Applying a preset changes the setup for the current conversation only. It does not affect your other conversations.
  • A preset saves how the AI is configured, not the messages in any conversation.
