Flow Paths Tab
The Flow Paths tab gives a pattern-level summary of the trace — showing the heaviest routes, the deepest chain, where funds ended up, and which addresses received the most transactions.
Where the Journey tab shows individual steps, Flow Paths shows the macro picture. Use both together for a complete view of a trace.
Top Paths by Value
Shows the five highest-value paths through the trace. Each path is a sequence of addresses connected by arrows, with the total cumulative value and hop count for that path.
The path with the highest total value is the primary movement of funds through the network.
Longest Path
Shows the deepest address chain in the trace — the path with the most hops, regardless of value. A long path with low value can indicate funds being layered through many intermediate addresses before reaching a destination.
Sink Categories
Shows how traced funds were distributed across terminal address types:
| Category | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Exchange | Funds reached a centralized exchange — a common, identifiable endpoint |
| Bridge | Funds moved to another blockchain via a bridge contract |
| Mixer | Funds passed through a privacy protocol |
| Other / Unknown | Terminal addresses not classified into the above categories |
Each category badge shows the number of terminal addresses and their combined total inflow. Hover a badge to see the inflow total.
Top Counterparties
Shows the five addresses that received the most individual transactions in the trace. Each entry shows:
- The address and its node type (color-coded)
- Transaction count
- Token breakdown — the top two tokens received, with a count of any others
Hover the token summary to see the full token-by-token breakdown.
Click any counterparty row to jump to that node on the Bubble Map.
