How Chat & Wallet Tracer Work Together

Cognivo Chat and Wallet Tracer are two separate products that are designed to work together in one research workflow. You can move between them without losing context, and return to where you left off at any time.

The Core Flow​

Cognivo Chat  →  Wallet Tracer  →  Back to Chat
  1. Start in Chat — ask the AI to trace a wallet address
  2. Cognivo runs the trace and returns a link to the result in Wallet Tracer
  3. Explore in Wallet Tracer — use the Bubble Map, Journey View, and tabs to investigate
  4. Return to Chat — click Back to Chat in the Wallet Tracer header to resume your conversation

Your conversation is preserved exactly where you left it. The Back to Chat button takes you back to the same message thread.

Starting a Trace from Chat​

Ask in natural language — no commands needed:

Trace the outgoing transactions from 0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045

Do a full bidirectional trace on 0x…

Cognivo identifies the address, determines the direction, and returns a direct link to the . You do not need to navigate to Wallet Tracer manually.

The Back to Chat Button​

The Back to Chat button appears in the Wallet Tracer header whenever you arrived from a Chat conversation. Clicking it takes you straight back to the conversation you came from.

If you opened Wallet Tracer directly (not from Chat), the Back to Chat button is not shown.

Starting a Trace Directly in Wallet Tracer​

You can also go directly to dapp.cognivolabs.io and start a trace without going through Chat first. This is useful when you already know the address and want to jump straight to the visualization.

Traces started directly in Wallet Tracer are saved in your trace history and can be revisited at any time.

Continuing Analysis in Chat​

After exploring a trace in Wallet Tracer, you can return to Chat and ask follow-up questions:

That trace ended at an exchange. Can you look up the wallet activity before the deposit?

What do we know about this contract at the terminal address?
