Chatting with the Agent
You work with Cognivo's on-chain agent by chatting in plain language inside Cognivo Chat. The agent decides which $COGNI Gateway tool to run, executes it on the network you name, and explains the result.
How to ask a good first question
- Open a new conversation in Cognivo Chat.
- State what you want and include the specifics the agent needs: the network, and the wallet address, contract address, or transaction hash.
- Send the message. The agent runs the matching tool and returns a structured answer.
Useful phrasings:
Check the risk of this Base contract: 0x...Explain this Ethereum transaction: 0x...Where did the funds from 0x... on Ethereum go?Show recent activity for 0x... on BNB Chain
What you need
- A Cognivo account. See Creating Your Account.
- The network: Ethereum, Base, or BNB Chain.
- The address, contract, or transaction hash you are asking about.
Reading the answer
- The answer names the chain and the exact address or hash it looked at, so you can confirm the agent understood you.
- Findings are grounded in on-chain data; anything that could not be confirmed is labelled as a limitation rather than stated as fact. See Understanding Cognivo Answers.
- Fund-flow answers include a link that opens the result in Wallet Tracer as an interactive Bubble Map.
- Suggested follow-ups let you go deeper without retyping the address.
Cost and confirmation
Most quick lookups use a small number of credits, and every account gets free daily credits. Deeper, paid actions (such as a Full Contract Analysis or a Deep Trace) show the credit cost and ask for confirmation before they run, so you are never charged without agreeing first. See Credits & Billing.
Privacy and safe input
- Start a fresh conversation for a new investigation to keep results focused.
- Only paste public on-chain identifiers (addresses, contracts, transaction hashes). Never paste a private key or seed phrase - no Cognivo feature needs one.
