Bookmarks & Favorites

Cognivo Chat has two separate organizational features: Bookmarks for tagging and categorizing conversations, and Favorites for pinning agents or models you use often. They serve different purposes and work independently.

Bookmarks (Conversation Tags)

Bookmarks are named tags you create and assign to conversations. They act as categories — a way to label and group conversations by topic, project, or any scheme that suits you.

Creating a Tag

  1. Open a conversation or hover over it in the sidebar.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯).
  3. Select the bookmark option.
  4. Enter a tag name (required) and an optional description.
  5. Check Add to conversation to assign the tag immediately.
  6. Save.

Assigning Tags to Conversations

Once a tag exists, it appears as a selectable option in the bookmark menu on any conversation. Click a tag name to assign it; click again to unassign it.

Managing Tags

All your tags are listed in the Bookmarks panel, accessible from the right side panel:

  • Paginated list (10 tags per page)
  • Filter by tag name using the search input
  • Drag rows to reorder tags
  • Edit tag name or description, or delete a tag, using the row actions

Deleting a tag removes it from all conversations it was assigned to.

Favorites (Pinned Agents and Models)

The Favorites section appears at the top of the left sidebar, above the conversation list. It shows agents or models you have pinned for quick access — useful when you regularly switch between specific tools.

To remove an item from Favorites, click the pin icon next to that entry.

What There Is No Native Support For

Conversations cannot be organized into folders. The primary organizational tools available are date grouping (automatic) and tags (bookmarks).
