Lifespan Tab
The Lifespan Tab shows the execution timeline for the current trace — when it started, when it finished, how long it ran, and what status it reached.
What the Lifespan Tab Shows
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Start time | When the trace began |
| End time | When the trace finished (shown only on completed or failed traces) |
| Elapsed time | How long the trace took, formatted automatically (e.g. 340ms, 4s, 1m 12s) |
| Status | Current state: running, completed, or failed |
Status Meanings
- Running — The trace is still in progress. Elapsed time updates as the trace continues.
- Completed — The trace finished and all results are available.
- Failed — The trace did not complete. Partial results may still be visible on the Map Tab.
What the Lifespan Tab Does Not Indicate
Elapsed time reflects execution duration only. A longer trace is not necessarily more thorough than a shorter one.
