New Chat
Each conversation in Cognivo Chat is independent. You can start as many as you need and return to any of them at any time.
Starting a New Conversation
Click the New Chat button at the top of the left sidebar. A fresh conversation opens and you can start typing immediately.
You can also start a new conversation by pressing the keyboard shortcut shown in the sidebar tooltip.
What You Can Do in a Conversation
Once you're in a conversation, type your question or request in the message box and press Enter or click Send.
You can:
- Ask questions about blockchain activity, wallets, contracts, or tokens
- Run $COGNI Gateway tools by asking naturally
- Upload images, PDFs, or documents to analyze alongside your questions
- Ask follow-up questions — Cognivo keeps context across the whole thread
Conversation History
Every conversation is saved automatically. Your previous conversations appear in the left sidebar, listed by title. Click any conversation to reopen it and continue from where you left off.
You can:
- Search conversations using the search bar at the top of the sidebar
- Rename a conversation by clicking its title
- Bookmark conversations you want to return to quickly
- Delete conversations you no longer need
Temporary Chat
If you want a conversation that is not saved, use Temporary Chat mode. Messages in temporary chats are discarded when the session ends and do not appear in your history.
To start a temporary chat, look for the option in the new chat menu or the conversation settings.
