Trace History

Wallet Tracer automatically records each trace you run. The history lets you reopen past results without rerunning the same analysis.

What Is Stored

Each history entry records:

  • The starting wallet address
  • Trace direction (incoming, outgoing, or both)
  • Date and time the trace was started
  • Trace status (completed, pending, or failed)
  • Node count and edge count (for completed traces)

Retention

  • Maximum entries: 20 traces. When the limit is reached, the oldest entry is removed automatically to make room for the new one.
  • Expiry: Entries older than 7 days expire and are removed automatically.

History is stored in your browser. Clearing your browser's local storage will remove your trace history.

Accessing History

Open the history panel from the Wallet Tracer navigation. Entries are listed newest-first.

Click any entry to reopen that trace and view its results.

Removing Entries

To remove a single trace, use the remove option on that entry.

To clear all history at once, use Clear all in the history panel.
