Creating Your Own Prompts
You can create your own prompt templates in the Prompts Dashboard to save and reuse recurring workflows. Prompts are private by default unless explicitly shared.
Creating a New Prompt
- Open the Prompts Dashboard from the main navigation.
- Select New Prompt to open the creation form.
- Enter a name for your prompt group.
- Optionally select a category to organize it.
- Write your prompt text.
- Save — your prompt is stored and available from the dashboard.
Using Variables
You can embed variables in your prompt text using double braces:
{{variable_name}}
Variables appear highlighted in the Variables panel below the prompt text. When you use the prompt, these placeholders mark where you supply specific values for that particular use.
System-provided variables appear in amber. These are automatically filled by the platform and do not require manual input.
Versions
Each time you save changes to a prompt's text, a new version is created. One version is designated as the active version — this is the text shown and used when selecting the prompt. You can designate any saved version as active.
